ABOUT FLYINGMACHINES

Flyingmachines is a freelance Illustration / Design and Art Direction company based in London, started by Caspar Williamson in 2007.

Recent clients have included packaging and merchandise for independent and major record labels such as Universal Records, Columbia, Rough Trade, Bella Union and Warmest Chord, as well as designs for fashion labels Topman, Frost French. I have also had the pleasure of working on large-scale interior graphics for Universal Digital, and more recently Spotify.

ackaging and merchandise clients include work for artists such as NOAH AND THE WHALE, MICACHU & THE SHAPES, MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS, HOCKEY, GRAHAM COXON, PATRICK WOLF, EXAMPLE, STRICKEN CITY, THE JOY FORMIDABLE, THE SUNSHINE UNDERGROUND, FANFARLO, DENGUE FEVER, KATE TEMPEST, SLEEPING STATES, ALAN POWNALL and EMMY THE GREAT.

Recognition from the screenprinting community has led to invitation to exhibit in a number of the UK's most highly regarded exhibitions such as 2007 Free Range Festival, and alongside such prolific artist as Shepard Fairey, Airside and Insa at 2008's Mutate Britain, as well as more recently, D*Face, Eine and Pure Evil at Artswipe in Brick Lane. Flyingmachines has also had the pleasure of being recognised by leading design publication Creative Review and Elle Décor, as well as being published by London design studio's Nobrow Press in summer 2009 issue 'Gods & Monsters'.
